Holiday Centerpiece Workshop $75.00
*We will also be creating a Greenery Swag to hang on your front door or mailbox.
Saturday, November 18th 2:00-4:00
Location: Quiver Full Farm in Mars Hill, NC
I am very excited to host this workshop in the beautiful old tobacco barn located at Quiver Full Farm!
Each participant will create a centerpiece in his/her choice using local seasonal greenery, foliage, seedpods and fruit. We'll provide a low vessel that is perfect for your table centerpiece, as well as the tape and floral foam that you will need. We will have extra pruners, but if you have a pair that would be great if you can bring your own.
After you create your centerpiece you will make a Greenery Swag to hang on your front door or your mailbox.
Loretta will create a quick demo arrangement for guests to see and instructions on basic design. This workshop is for everyone and no floral experience is needed. The workshop is going to be a lot of fun with lots of fellowship and laughter! You will be encouraged to get creative and arrange something that will bring joy to you during the following weeks of Holiday craziness!
Light refreshments will be served.
The old tobacco barn at Quiver Full Farm is a drafty barn, so please dress appropriately for the weather. We will have heaters lined up just in case the weather is a bit chilly. And please note we will be in the upper loft of the barn so there is about 10 steps to climb. Check out Quiver Full Farms Facebook page to see photos of the barn and meet the Ramsey Family who will be opening up their farm to us.
The workshop is limited to 24 participants, so sign up quickly to reserve your place!
Your centerpiece will last 3 to 4 weeks with proper care. Loretta will give you tips on how to get the longest life out of the centerpiece.
Your non-refundable payment of $75.00 is due at time of sign-up. Go to the Shop page and purchase your spot in the workshop! PayPal & Credit/Debit accepted and you can also mail a check. Email Loretta with any questions: firstname.lastname@example.org
